21 January 2003. CrystalMaker 6.0.2 has been reviewed in
the February issue of Macworld
(US) magazine, and awarded a top, 5-mouse rating - the only
product in that issue to score so highly.
The previous version of CrystalMaker, 5.0, was
a runner-up in last year's Macworld Editors' Choice awards,
and the present version, 6.0, does even better: winning
particular praise for its ease-of-use and thorough optimization
for Mac OS X.
Reviewer Charles Seiter was impressed by the redesigned
interface, with its use of sheets to replace "tedious dialog
boxes", and he emphasized the program's high performance under
Mac OS X.

|
But most important of all, the program's use in
education was emphasized, stating that "this program alone
would justify buying a Mac". And who are we to disagree?!

Update: 28 April 2003. The
review
has now been posted on the Macworld website.
