Education Price List & Fax-Back Order Form

You can download our education price list and order form as an Adobe PDF document. You can fax this to us with a purchase order or credit card number; European Union (excluding UK) customers should remember to include their VAT/TVA details. This form can also be used to order a Departmental or Campus site licence.

Free worldwide delivery

Classroom licences are only for use by students within a single classroom. Educators must purchase, or already have purchased, a separate personal or group licence.

CrystalDiffract for Education

Simulation of x-ray & neutron powder diffraction patterns, including multi-phase mixtures, with real-time parameter control and comparison with observed diffraction traces.

Software download. A licence code will be e-mailed to you following successful completion of your order. Because we personally check all online orders, there may be a delay of around 24 hours (depending on time zones) before you receive your licence code.

Do you have CrystalMaker? CrystalDiffract works best with CrystalMaker, so you can generate input for diffraction simulation, for any crystal.

SingleCrystal for Education

Single-crystal diffraction simulation, measurement & auto-indexing of observed diffraction images; stereographic projections.

General Notes

• Please review your licensing options before placing an order. In particular, you should understand the distinctions between Personal, Group, Classroom and Site licences (as detailed our Licensing page). You should do this before you place your order, as we cannot accept returns for software.

• Prices are valid to 30 September 2010 and are in U.S. dollars (USD), Euros (EUR) and British Pounds Sterling (GBP). These prices are for direct orders only. Using a reseller may well prove more expensive.

• VAT in the European Union: The prices listed below exclude Value-Added Tax (VAT/TVA). European Union customers ordering online will be billed VAT at the UK rate of 17.5%. If you are based inside the European Union (and outside the United Kingdom), have a valid VAT number, and do not wish to pay VAT at the UK rate, please fax your order details to us, using the downloadable order form.

• Free Shipping & Handling for CrystalMaker! For international orders we typically use priority airmail (Royal Mail Airsure), which takes approximately 3-7 days for delivery.

  Please remember to include a contact name and a FULL shipping address that will be acceptable to your local postal service!

• There is no physical shipping for CrystalDiffract and SingleCrystal (except when ordered in combination with CrystalMaker). We supply a licence code to unlock the full features of the Demo version. The Demo version can be downloaded from our website.

  When ordering CrystalDiffract or SingleCrystal, remember to specify the e-mail address of the end user, so we can send them their licence code and agreement.

• Mac or Windows? Software is available in two different versions, for Mac or Windows operating systems. Please remember to specify which platform you require. (When ordering online, you should be taken to an order page where you can specify the platform type using a popup menu.)

  If you require software for both platforms, we do offer the option of "cross-platform upgrades", where you can purchase the same licence for a second platform, at the upgrade price. To qualify, both licences must be of the same type, e.g., a Small Group licence for Mac and a Small Group licence for Windows. You cannot mix different licence types (e.g., "Small Group" for Windows plus "Personal" for Mac).

  Site licences include All software, for All platforms.

• Mac Compatibility: Our Mac programs run natively on both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs, and support the new "Snow Leopard" operating system. Please refer to the individual product pages for specific operating system requirements. In particular, please note that software requires Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger" or later.

• Credit Card Orders: (Visa, Mastercard, JCB) are welcomed and are billed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Your card provider will convert this to your local currency, using the exchange rates at the time of the transaction. Please be aware that because of exchange rate fluctuations, the total amount billed in your local currency may differ from our U.S. dollar (USD) or Euros (EUR) guide prices.
