We now provide a range of flexible licensing options, ranging from perpetual personal licences, through multi-user group and classroom licenses, to all-embracing site licences, allowing virtually unrestricted usage of all products, on all platforms at the licensed site. Education and Student pricing is also available.

The ultimate in personal flexibility and our recommended option for individual academics or researchers.

The software is licensed to you, so you can take it with you if you change jobs or move institutions.

You are licensed to use the software on any of your machines: in the office, at home or on your laptop. However, you must not "share" the software with any other users, even if they "only" use the software on one machine (you should consider a group licence in that case).

To keep prices as low as possible, this licence is for a single-platform (Mac or Windows). If you require multiple platforms, you can purchase an additional licence, at the upgrade price.

Available for 5-, 10-, 20- or more users. The 5-user group licence is ideal for a small research group, and priced to fit within most budgets. Allows up to the specified number of "named" users(*) to share the software on any of their own machines.

(*) This is NOT a concurrent-user licence. The user limit refers to the number of specific individuals with access to the software, e.g., Joe, Fred, Sally, Margaret and John.

For wider access, please consider increasing your user limit (e.g., purchasing a 10- or 20-user group licence), or alternatively considering a different licensing strategy: Classroom, Departmental or Campus licence.

This is a highly-specific product, designed for a traditional teaching environment, with up to 30 installations of the software within a teaching lab or classroom.

A classroom licence is for use only by students, and in a single classroom. Educators must purchase, or already have purchased, a separate personal or group licence.

(We require this so you can use the software for teaching preparation and research outside the classroom.)

Provides extended flexibility in departmental teaching and research.

This licence gives unlimited use of the software by members of the department for one year:

  • All products: CrystalMaker + CrystalDiffract + SingleCrystal;

  • All platforms: Mac "Tiger", Mac "Leopard", Windows XP, Windows Vista.

    This licence is available to educational institutions only.

    Delivers superb value for money across an entire university, college or school campus (*).

    This licence gives unlimited use of the software at the licensed site for one year:

  • All products: CrystalMaker + CrystalDiffract + SingleCrystal;

  • All platforms: Mac "Tiger", Mac "Leopard", Windows XP, Windows Vista.

    (*) An equivalent, "Corporate" site licence is available to non-educational institutions such as corporations and government agencies/labs.

    Single product - Single platform All products + All platforms

    Choose an annual site licence for a veritable feast of all products on all platforms. Easy renewal with all-new software. The low-cost way to stay up-to-date, and with virtually-unrestricted access to three world-leading products on the two main software platforms: amazing value!

    Off-Site Usage: Unlike some other companies' products, our site licences allow far more flexible use, including away from site (e.g., on your laptop at a convention or lab, or at home) - providing the software is only used by eligible personnel, and as part of their official duties.

    Network Licence? If you wish to have the software installed on a server, for use across a network, you should purchase one of our site licences (Departmental, Campus or Corporate).

    In contrast, our group licences are not suitable for network use, since they are designed for specific individuals, and are not concurrent-usage licences. The Classroom licence is also not suitable for network use, since it is designed for static installations "seats".)
