We provide three upgrade paths for existing users:

• Version Upgrades let you obtain the latest version on your current platform (e.g., to upgrade Mac version 7 to Mac version 8). The licence type (e.g., 5-user Group Licence) must be the same for old and new licences.

  To qualify for a version upgrade, you must:

  • Complete any outstanding payments from previous orders.
  • Provide proof-of-purchase of your existing licence (e.g., by registering your copy).
  • Supply your licence number when ordering an upgrade.

  Please note: we only charge for major (full-unit) upgrades (e.g., CrystalMaker 7.x to 8.x). Incremental updates (e.g., version 7.1 to 7.2, or version 7.0.1 to 7.0.2) can be downloaded free-of-charge from our Software Updates page.

  To purchase a Version Upgrade:

  • Please have your existing program version & licence code handy, then visit the standard or education sales pages.

• Cross-Platform Upgrades are available when you want to run the program on a different platform (e.g., Mac to Windows).

  Provided that you have the latest software version for your existing platform, then you can obtain a second licence, for the other platform, for the upgrade price.

  To purchase a Cross-Platform Upgrade:

  • Please have your existing program version & licence code handy, then visit the standard or education sales pages.

• User-Limit Upgrades for when you want to increase the number of licensed users for a Research-Group licence (e.g., from a 5-user to a 10-user Group licence).

  Providing you have the current software version, then you'll only need to pay the difference in price between what you want, and what you already have. (If you don't have the current software, you'll need to purchase a Version Upgrade first.)

  To Purchase a User-Limit Upgrade:

  • Please contact us for a sales quotation. (This option is not available for purchase online.)

General Notes

When purchasing any kind of upgrade we will require the following information:

1. Your current program name and version, e.g., "CrystalMaker for Mac, 7.0".

   You can get the program version by launching the program and choosing the "About" command from either the Application menu (Mac) or the Help menu (Windows).

2. Your current licence code.

   This should be printed on the back of your CrystalMaker program pack, or in the case of a software download, in our confirmation e-mail.
